LBS Institute of Technology for Women Joins Hands with Orell

Team Oréll has implemented eShelf, the digital library at LBS Institute of Technology for Women- Thiruvananthapuram, one of the pioneering technology institutes in Kerala, on November 30, 2012.

As part of familiarizing eShelf and its umpteen features to the college staff, Mr. Vipin P Jospeh, the Business Development Manager of Oréll delivered a product demonstration and the installation was successfully completed by Mr. Aneesh K Murali, the Area Manager of Oréll Cochin.

Oréll eShelf is an offline virtual library, engineered to organize and manage informative materials of an institute in digital format. eShelf with its limitless storage capacity, offers a variety of contents including articles, books, audio/video etc, which are downloadable and are retrievable anytime. The text files in PDF formats are ready-to-print or saved offering optimum flexibility in usage.

By implementing eShelf, the user can browse and view e-books, save content for future use, author e-books/articles, post comments in the forum etc. Besides these, the administrator can register users, edit user list, control user-privileges, approve/reject e-content, monitor forum discussions etc.

LBS Institute of Technology for Women (LBSITW), Thiruvananthapuram is the second self financing Engineering College managed by LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. LBSITW, which is a unique venture of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology and the Government of Kerala, started functioning during the academic year 2001-02. This AICTE approved college is affiliated to the University of Kerala and it envisages to make the institution a Centre of Excellence poised towards Women Empowerment in technical education.

Gandhi Memorial International School Welcomes Oréll Honeycomb

Oréll Software Solutions has signed new agreement with Gandhi Memorial International School (GIMS), Bali, Indonesia for implementing Honeycomb ERP at their campus.

Following the product demonstration by the Sr. Business Executive of Oréll, Mr. Elhil Maran Sambath, the school authority decided to implement Honeycomb ERP for their campus administration needs. Mr. Vinod Singh, the Principal of Gandhi Memorial International School took initiative to bring Honeycomb to GIMS campus for the effortless handling of administration procedures and to reduce the workload of staff.

Honeycomb ERP Suite is a comprehensive 24-module campus management software engineered to enhance the administrative efficacy of educational institutions such as School, College, University, Multi-campus etc. Mr. Elhil collected the customization requirements of the school and handed over the process study details to the product developers of Oréll for customization of Honeycomb. Honeycomb Admission Management, Reporting module and Cyber Campus are the three modules that require customization according to the institute authority.

Oréll wins new order for Honeycomb ERP from Konkani Bhas Ani Sanskriti Prathistan

Oréll Software Solutions has won new order from Konkani Language and Cultural Foundation, Mangalore for implementing Honeycomb ERP suite.

Oréll's agreement with the Foundation includes a perpetual license, online support for installation and training for the use of software. Gurudath Bantwalkar, the Assistant Director of the organization contacted Oréll coordinators and signed the contract for Honeycomb ERP.

The association of Oréll with Konkani Language and Cultural Foundation started with the implementation of ODLL (Oréll Digital Language Lab) at World Konkani Centre, the institution which runs under the aegis of Konkani Bhas Ani Sanskriti Prathistan (Konkani Language and Cultural Foundation). Following the implementation of the digital language lab, authority of the institution decided to opt for Honeycomb ERP, a comprehensive full-service administration software.

The requirements of the organization include tracking stock, assets, purchasing, shipping, tally depreciation and almost every other aspects of supply as well as storage and accessibility of items in order to insure an adequate supply without excessive oversupply. Honeycomb ERP provides special privileges for users to control and access data, according to their needs. New Order for eShelf from Ar-Rahman International School, Nigeria

Oréll Software Solutions has bagged new order for the implementation of eShelf, the off-line virtual library from Ar-Rahman International School, located at Asokoro-Abuja in Nigeria.

Oréll eShelf is an off-line virtual library that can store contents digitally and is accessible by computers. eShelf retrieves comprehensive yet accurate information that is 100% secure and virus-free, delivering it instantly at the click of the mouse across the intranet.

Muhammed Gummi, the head and decision maker of the IT department of the Ar-Rahman International School was the key person who contacted Oréll coordinators and ordered for Oréll eShelf. Speaking about the contract, Mr. Rajiv Satheeshan, the person in charge of the product implementation said that eShelf is expected to enhance the efficiency of the school library and to store the most up-to-date information on every subject that is quickly retrievable using its interactive software platform. 

"We have received orders from a few other schools outside India for the implementation of eShelf between October-December, 2012. Right now, our priority is to complete the implementation of eShelf at Ar-Rahman International School, as early as possible," says Ms. Gayathri Satheesh, the Customer Relations Manager of Oréll Software Solutions.

Ar-Rahman International School, which established in September 2002 is part of the Sheik Abubakar Mahmoud Gummi International Islamic Centre, and is located at Asokoro Abuja. Library Genie Implemented at Chandulal Chandrakar Govt. Arts and Science College

Library Genie, the premium solution of Oréll Software Solutions for library management was implemented at Chandulal Chandrakar Govt Arts and Science College located at Durg, Chattisgarh in October, 2012.

As per the agreement signed by Oréll coordinators with the authority of the college, a fully customized version of Library Genie was implemented by Mr. Hem Chandra Menon, the business executive of Oréll Software Solutions.

Govt. Chandulal Chandrakar Arts & Science College, which established in 1989 is an AICTE approved institution which renders higher education to the students residing in the state. The college owns a fully-fledged library with rich academic and non-academic resources, which provides a wide range of reading and reference materials to the students.

With the implementation of Library Genie at the college, it will become easier for the library staff to manage the whole library activities with just a few clicks. S.K. Das, the Assistant Professor (Geography Dept.) of the college was the contact person for Oréll coordinators and he made all arrangements for the installation.

Following the installation in October, post- installation training was also conducted by Oréll for educating the staff of the college library regarding the working of Library Genie and its effectiveness in the management of library activities. Above all, Tikariha, the librarian of the institute remarked that the implementation of Library Genie will be an important event in the history of Chandulal Chandrakar Arts and Science college.

Oréll Bags Order from C.RE.D.O Logos University,West Africa

Oréll Software Solutions has bagged order for Oréll Digital Language Lab (ODLL)from C.RE.D.O Logos University, West Africa to enhance its educational value and to become an internationally recognized university with unending supremacy in language teaching and to train well-qualified young leaders for industry and society, both in the national and international level.

Under the agreement, Oréll has signed to implement one plus thirty consoles of ODLL- premium edition at the university. The off-line version of the software was preferred by the University authority and Oréll team is conducting a process study to gather necessary information for customizing the product according to the demands of the University.

The implementation of ODLL aims to develop the academic standards of C.RE.D.O Logos University and to transform the academy into an innovative and technology enabled learning institution, by revolutionizing its language teaching methodologies. Mr. Moise Napon, the General Secretary of C.RE.D.O contacted Oréll coordinators and ordered for ODLL. Once ODLL- premium edition is implemented at the University, the authority of the institution can ensure that the students graduating from the institute achieve good communication skill and proficiency in foreign languages.
